President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, will take the oath of office on Tuesday for his second five-year term. The inauguration will be held at the Presidential Office on Pantovčak, with around a hundred guests in attendance, including four Deputy Speakers of Parliament—but somewhat surprisingly no representatives from the current government.
Milanović was re-elected as Croatia’s president just over a month ago, on January 12, after defeating his opponent, Dragan Primorac, in the second round of voting.
The inauguration ceremony, set to begin at noon on Tuesday, will be attended by former presidents, representatives of institutions and associations, members of the Croatian Armed Forces, religious leaders, party leaders who supported Milanović’s campaign, members of his election team, as well as family and friends.
