Mate Rimac and his team recently showcased the latest supercar, the Nevera R, while revealing the ongoing development of the company’s campus in Kerestinec. The highlight of the new facilities is expected to be the test track encircling the complex, which also houses design and engineering departments, production and testing facilities, and a museum featuring the company’s history.

The Nevera R is an upgraded, more aggressive version of the original model, featuring a 108 kWh battery and 2,017 horsepower. It can achieve a top speed of 412 km/h under the manufacturer’s supervision, while the regular limit is set at 350 km/h. The car accelerates from 0 to 300 km/h in 8.66 seconds and reaches 100 km/h in just 1.81 seconds.

During the presentation, Rimac provided a brief history of the company and confirmed his majority ownership with a 23% stake. The company now employs over 2,000 people and has contracts with Bugatti valued at more than 5 billion euros, with all slots sold out until 2029 or 2030.

The company recently opened a new facility in Bologna to accommodate its growing number of Italian employees. Investments continue to flow into the Kerestinec campus, with the newly completed production building already in use. Covering an area equivalent to the old city of Dubrovnik, the main corridor has been aptly named "Stradun." The construction cost 120 million euros, and Rimac noted that the space is already becoming too small.

A new test facility is also planned for construction on land in Stupnik.

Rimac acknowledged that while the entire planned series of the Nevera hasn't yet sold out, interest remains strong.
