Written by  Oct 01, 2024

According to data from the Croatian National Bank (HNB), revenues from foreign tourists in the first half of the year amounted to €4.13 billion, which is an increase of 7.5% or €288.3 million compared to the same period in 2023, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports reported on Monday.

In the second quarter, revenues from foreign tourists reached €3.32 billion, representing a growth of 4.36% compared to the same period in 2023, generating €138.6 million more.

"We are pleased that financial indicators confirm our progress as a year-round destination. After another record-breaking pre-season in terms of tourism results, we now have record revenues from foreign tourists. This demonstrates that the reform we are implementing is already showing concrete effects, and as we enter a new era of tourism development management, we expect even stronger growth for Croatian tourism," said Minister of Tourism and Sports, Tonči Glavina.
