Mamma Mia 3 is coming and might be filmed in Croatia! This was revealed by actress Christine Baranski in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"I was in London with producer Judy Craymer. She is planning Mamma Mia 3. She shared the narrative plot with me, and that's all I can say. She's the kind of producer who makes things happen, she doesn't wait," the actress revealed. "We'll all be on some fantastic Croatian or Greek island enjoying ourselves. I hope," she added.

The first film (2008) was mostly filmed on the Greek islands of Skopelos, Skiathos, and Pelion. Skopelos served as the main setting and was depicted as the fictional island of Kalokairi. The sequel, “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” (2018), was partially filmed on the Croatian island of Vis. Vis was chosen for its natural beauty and authenticity, and it represents the island of Kalokairi in the movie.
