Split St. Jerome Airport recorded its busiest month on record this July, handling a total of 770,502 passengers, making it the busiest airport in Croatia for the month. This represents a 3.5% increase compared to July 2023, reports EX-YU Aviation.
In terms of airline activity, EasyJet emerged as the top carrier at the airport, offering the highest seat capacity with a market share of 21.6%. Croatia Airlines followed with an 11.6% share, while SAS Scandinavian Airlines held 10.2% of the available seat capacity.
Over the January to July period, Split St. Jerome Airport welcomed a total of 1,961,369 travellers, reflecting a 7.8% increase year-over-year, with 142,466 more passengers passing through its doors compared to the same period last year.
