The net profit of Croatian entrepreneurs in 2023 amounted to €8.8 billion, with the private sector entrepreneurs contributing the most to this result, having achieved a net profit of €7.9 billion last year, which is 19.9% more than the previous year, according to an analysis by the Financial Agency.

Private sector entrepreneurs, totalling 153,809, employed 890,190 workers last year and generated total revenues of €138.1 billion.

Compared to 2022, private sector entrepreneurs increased their number of employees by 5.6% and total revenues by 10%.
