According to exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Henley Passport Index, which ranks the world's passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access without a visa, has revealed this year's rankings. The IATA, the largest and most accurate database of travel information, provides the foundation for this index, which is further enhanced by data from the Henley & Partners research team.

Croatian Passport Soars

The Croatian passport has made a significant leap this year, becoming the most powerful in the region. It now ranks 11th globally, allowing visa-free access to 183 countries. This remarkable improvement highlights Croatia's growing influence and connectivity on the global stage.

Regional Comparisons

Among Croatia's neighboring countries, Hungary's passport ranks 7th, with visa-free access to 187 countries. Slovenia follows in 10th place, allowing entry to 184 countries. Further down the list, Serbia's passport ranks 34th with access to 140 countries, while Bosnia and Herzegovina's passport ranks 43rd, granting entry to 123 countries.

Singapore Tops the Index

This year's global winner is Singapore, with its passport holders able to travel to an impressive 195 destinations without a visa. Following closely are the passports of France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain, each granting access to 192 countries without the need for a visa.
