President Zoran Milanović Sets Dates for Parliamentary and European Parliament Elections in Croatia

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović has made a Decision on the calling of elections for representatives to the Croatian Parliament. According to the Decision on the calling of elections for representatives to the Croatian Parliament, the elections will be held at polling stations in the Republic of Croatia on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, and the elections at polling stations in the headquarters of diplomatic-consular representations of the Republic of Croatia will be held on Tuesday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 17, 2024. The Decision on the calling of elections for representatives to the Croatian Parliament comes into force today, March 15, 2024.

According to the Law on the Election of Representatives to the Croatian Parliament, Article 5, Paragraph 3, the day of the election is a non-working day.

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović has also made a Decision on the calling of elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Croatia. According to the Decision on the calling of elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Croatia, elections at polling stations in the Republic of Croatia and in the headquarters of diplomatic-consular representations of the Republic of Croatia will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

The Decision on the calling of elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Croatia comes into force on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
