The Croatian Football Federation has reached an agreement with the football federations of Egypt, Tunisia, and New Zealand for a friendly tournament, instead of the originally planned W Cup Abu Dhabi (UAE), to be held in the Egyptian capital Cairo, the Croatian Football Federation announced on Wednesday on its official website.

To ensure that fans who had already planned their trip to the cancelled W Cup tournament do not lose out too much, the Croatian Football Federation has decided to take care of them and has made new decisions.

"For Croatian fans who have already planned a trip to Abu Dhabi, the Croatian Football Federation will provide free tickets for both of Croatia's matches in Egypt, as well as access to the national team's training in Cairo. For those fans for whom going to Cairo will not be feasible, but who had planned a trip to Abu Dhabi, the Croatian Football Federation will provide access to one of the Croatian national team's domestic matches this year.
