Keanu Reeves is coming to Croatia, and it's neither for filming a movie nor for a vacation!
Rocker band Dogstar is joining the impressive lineup of the INmusic festival alongside the already announced names The National, The Smashing Pumpkins, Hozier, Viagra Boys, The Gaslight Anthem, Sleaford Mods, and Paolo Nutini!
Dogstar was founded in the early 90s as a project of Keanu Reeves on bass guitar and Robert Mailhouse on drums. Later, Bret Domrose joined them as a singer and guitarist, marking the beginning of this alternative rock band's era. Their distinctive grunge style brought the band positive reviews and fans worldwide.
The debut album 'Our Little Visionary' was released in 1996, and Dogstar further confirmed their significance by opening for many 90s giants, including David Bowie. The second album 'Happy Ending,' released in 2000, was well-received, and after a successful tour, the trio disbanded.
The reunion of Dogstar was accelerated by the coronavirus pandemic, and songs created during that period became part of their latest album 'Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees,' released in October this year. In May 2023, after more than two decades, Dogstar held an impressive comeback concert at the BottleRock Napa Valley festival, stunning the audience.
Dogstar is coming to Croatia for the first time as part of the impressive line-up of the comeback INmusic festival in June 2024.
