The Croatian Tourist Board (CTB) has announced tenders for the selection and appointment of a new director of the representative office in Great Britain, based in London, and a new director of the representative office in Poland, based in Warsaw. Applications for the competition, which is published on the website of CTB, are received by March 29, 2023, exclusively by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and new directors are elected for a mandate period of four years.

"We traditionally count Great Britain and Poland among the most important emitting markets from which we achieve excellent tourism results, that is, which significantly contribute to the overall results of Croatian tourism. For example, last year we achieved 6.6 million overnight stays from the Polish market, and 3.6 million overnight stays from Great Britain. These are extremely important markets in which the representative offices will play a key role in further positioning Croatia as a desirable, attractive, quality and sustainable Mediterranean destination and in presenting our year-round tourist offer. I would like to invite all interested candidates to apply for the competition and to become a leading part of the CTB teams in London and Warsaw with their experience, knowledge, creativity and professionalism", said Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board.

Some of the conditions for applying for the tender are at least four years of work experience in management positions in tourism or at least six years of work experience in management positions, knowledge of one foreign language or the language of the tourism market for which the representative office is responsible, and knowledge of the tourism market for which representative office is responsible, etc. In addition to these conditions candidates must submit their proposal for a four-year activity plan of the representative office.
