3,346 new passenger cars were registered in January across Croatia, which is 643 more than in the previous month of December 2022, and the most popular brand was again Volkswagen.
Last year in Croatia a grand total of 44,088 new cars were sold in Croatia, and in the same period in 2021, 45,289 new passenger cars were newly registered.
11.69 of all new cars sold in Croatia in the first month of this year were Volkswagens. Although interestingly the biggest selling new car wasn’t from the German giant, but from Ford. The Ford EcoSport was the biggest selling car in Croatia in January, and 146 new EcoSports were sold.
The second most popular car was the Opel Corsa, followed by the Dacia Duster in third. The highest ranking Volkswagen was the Tiguan, which was in fourth position on the January sales list.
