The International Federation for Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has announced its ranking and scoring for the best international football coach in 2022. And Croatian coach, Zlatko Dalić, has found himself on the list after a very successful World Cup in Qatar where the Croatian national football team picked up the bronze medal.
Unsurprisingly, IFFHS placed Argentinian coach Lionel Scaloni, whose team won the World Cup in Qatar, in first place with 240 points. And according to the lastest data from this world football body the Croatian manager, Zlatko Dalić, was in fourth place among the best coaches of the past year.
In front of Dalić, there are two more coaches, Frenchman Didier Deschamps, whose team lost in the final against Argentina, and Moroccan coach Walid Regragui, who led Morocco to 4th place at the World Cup in Qatar. They played against Croatia for bronze, but were defeated. However, the results of the Moroccan team were the best ever of an African nation at any World Cup.
Right below Dalić is the Japanese coach Hajime Moriyasu. And on the list is former Netherlands coach, Louis Van Gall, who resigned from his position as head coach after the World Cup.
