There were 1.63 million people employed in Croatia in July, which is 1.6 percent more than in the same month last year and 1.1 percent more than in June, according to the data from the State Bureau of Statistics.

According to the recently published data of the SBS, the active population in Croatia in July was slightly more than 1.74 million or 1.2 percent more than in June and 0.5 percent more than in July last year.

On the other hand, there were 109.6 thousand unemployed, which is a monthly increase of 3.6 percent, while compared to July 2021, their number decreased by 13 percent.

The registered unemployment rate was 6.3 percent in July, increasing by a slight 0.2 percentage points compared to June.
