Coronavirus Croatia – 1,654 new cases of Covid-19 in past 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, eight people died as a result of Covid-19, and 1,654 new cases of infection were recorded, bringing the total number of active cases in Croatia to 10,844, the National Civil Protection Headquarters reported on Saturday.

There are 579 people receiving hospital treatment, of which 15 are on ventilators.

From February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, until today a total of 1,176,519 people have been infected, of which 16,206 have died, a total of 1,149,469 people have recovered, of which 1,606 recovered in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 6,033 people in self-isolation.

To date, a total of 5,021,005 people have been tested, of which 4,234 have been tested in the last 24 hours.

As of July 22, 2022, 5,263,264 doses of vaccine had been administered, and 59.57 percent of the total population, or 70.84 percent of the adult population, have been vaccinated.
