However, we do not want to leave anything to chance, so at today's session a budget of HRK 11.5 million was adopted for intensified advertising and promotion activities on digital communication channels. This includes YouTube, social networks Facebook and Instagram, as well as advertising on Google search and Google DV360 platform,” said director Staničić, adding that this is an effective way of promotion that will be a great addition to current promotional activities in key markets. as part of the main call, the brand campaign "Your Life, Your Time, Your Experience."

In addition to the decisions for increased promotion in the run-up to the main part of the season, the members of the Tourist Board also adopted a decision on the election of the director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in six emitting markets. Thus, Bruno Bonifačić, director of the CNTB Representation in Slovenia, Branimir Tončinić, director of the CNTB Representation in Austria, Goran Kartelo, director of the CNTB Representation in the Czech Republic, Ivana Herceg, were appointed for four-year terms. Director of the CNTB Representation in Hungary, Vedran Sušić, as Director of the CNTB Representation in Sweden and Franka Gulin, as Director of the CNTB Representation in China.

In addition to the above, the session of the council adopted a decision on announcing a public tender for the selection and appointment of the director of the Croatian Tourist Board, and the defined deadline for the selection and appointment is 30 days.

"Just before the peak of the tourist year, our visibility and presence in the emitting markets is of great importance. Although the demand for Croatia is high, a significant number of tourists across Europe have not yet chosen a destination and booked accommodation. This is an opportunity for us to increase our market share and therefore we are working intensively on additional positioning of Croatia through all available channels. I believe that the elected directors will have a big role in that, who with their knowledge, enthusiasm and initiative will contribute to strengthening the recognition of Croatia in the world,” concluded Minister Brnjac.
