In the last 24 hours, 198 new cases of Covid-19 virus infection were recorded, and the number of active cases in Croatia today is 11,904. Today’s numbers are a huge decrease on recent weeks, although it must be added that at the beginning of the week the figures for new cases tend to be lower as fewer people get tested over the weekend.
There are 1,363 people in hospital, of which 98 are on respirators. Unfortunately, 39 people died in Croatia in the past 24 hours, while currently 8,577 people are in self-isolation.
Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 1,054,794 people have been infected, of which 15,069 have died, a total of 1,027,821 have recovered, of which 2,770 recovered in the last 24 hours.
To date, a total of 4,513,946 people have been tested, of which 1,489 were tested in the last 24 hours.
As of February 27, 5,194,258 doses of vaccine had been used, and 56.84 percent of the total population and 67.61 percent of the adult population have been vaccinated. On 27 February 2022, 4 doses of vaccine were consumed, of which 1 person was vaccinated with the first dose.
