The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, spoke with his Croatian counterpart, Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman, and after the call took to Twitter to show his thanks.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister tweeted that “Call with Croatian counterpart @grlicradman. Zagreb remembers the early 1990’s when Ukraine helped Croatians with practical decisions during their Homeland War. Croatia now works on decisions to repay us. I also thanked Croatia for supporting EU sanctions against Russian invaders.”
Minister Grlić Radman also confirmed to the news outlet, N1, that on Friday that the assets of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will be frozen.
"The EU is with Ukraine and we will help in any way," the minister said.
