Croatia has donated 490,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine, which have been sent to Bhutan, Vietnam, Rwanda and Kosovo.
Croatia ordered enough vaccines, so that it could even donate 490,000 doses of vaccines to poorer countries through the World Health Organization's Covax program, where vaccination is less available due to less availability or its high cost.
By the middle of this month, Croatia had donated 420,000 doses of AstraZeneca in eight countries, for example in Montenegro, Kosovo and Bhutan, 10,000 each, in Bosnia and Herzegovina 170,000 and in Northern Macedonia 30,000. Vietnam received 60,000, Rwanda 100,000, and 30,000 doses were donated to Albania. The last shipment went to Bosnia and Herzegovina last month, 70,000 doses of Moderna.
