In the last 24 hours, 4,154 new cases of the Covid-19 were recorded across Croatia as numbers continue to climb, while last Thursday there were 3,053, an increase of over 30 percent.
The number of active cases in Croatia today is a total of 22,382. Among them, 1,231 people are in hospital, of which 160 are on ventilators.
Unfortunately, a further 26 people died over the past 24 hours, the National Headquarters announced.
The number of people in self-isolation is 34,954. A total of 426,566 people have recovered, of which 2,391 recovered in the last 24 hours. To date, a total of 3,073,618 people have been tested, of which 12,300 were tested in the last 24 hours.
Speaking to N1 the deputy director of Dubrava Hospital in Zagreb, Dijana Rudan, stated that currently, 95 patients are hospitalized, 18 of them on ventilators.
“The clinical situation of patients on ventilators is difficult, and I must mention that no patient on a ventilators has been vaccinated,” she said, adding that their average age was 73 years.
