The Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated the list of countries marked as "high risk" for travel due to the epidemiological picture and Croatia is now on that list.

As many as 77 countries are on the list of high-risk countries due to the epidemiological situation, and Croatia is among them. In recent week the number of new daily cases of Covid-19 has soared and yesterday, the 27th of October, saw the second worse day for new cases since the pandemic began with 4,571 cases reported.

The CDC does not recommend traveling to Croatia, and they point out that due to the current epidemiological situation, even vaccinated people are at risk of infection and the spread of coronavirus variants.

Other popular tourist destinations on the list of high-risk countries are Austria, Greece, Ireland, Jamaica, Switzerland, Turkey, Thailand and the United Kingdom.
