In the last 24 hours, 4,571 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded across Croatia, and this is the second worst day since the beginning of the pandemic in terms of the number of patients.
Unfortunately, a further 26 people died across the country over the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases in Croatia today is a total of 20,645. Among them, 1,207 people are in hospital, of which 153 are on ventilators.
There are currently 28,501 people in self-isolation. To date, a total of 3,061,318 people have been tested, of which 13,083 were tested in the last 24 hours.
Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 453,936 people have been infected, of which 9,116 have died, a total of 424,175 people recovered, of which 1,844 recovered in the last 24 hours.
As of October 26, 3,575,459 doses of vaccine had been used, and 46.67 percent of the total population and 55.92 percent of the adult population have been vaccinated. Yesterday 9,640 doses of vaccine were administered, of which 4,516 persons were vaccinated with the first dose.
