AquaPark Istralandia Among Europe’s Best Water Parks

In the midst of a summer heatwave, we are all looking for a fun getaway to make some memories. Water parks have always been a summer vacation favourite whether you’re a family, an adrenaline junkie, or just looking to relax – it’s a guaranteed blast! With that in mind, set out to find which water parks in Europe are worth your time!

Where are Europe’s Best Water Parks?

Coming in first place with an overall score of 4.73 out of 5 is the UK’s Dorset Adventure Park. Nestled in a valley beside the ruins of Corfe Castle, the adventure park lives up to the name, not only offering a series of wipe-out style courses, but also mud trail assault courses for the ultimate getaway.

In second place is Siam Park located in the Canary Islands, with a score of 4.52. The Siamese themed water park is home to series attractions that cater to every type of holiday. While you’re there, make sure to take a spin on the water slide that takes you right through a shark tank!

Croatia’s Aquapark Istralandia places third with an overall score of 4.44 out of 5. Surrounded by the lush green forest of the hinterland of Novigard, Istralandia promises a dose of nature along with 23 water attractions and more than 3 kilometres of pipe slides.

Following closely in fourth with 4.41 points, is Energylandia located in Poland. Claiming the rank with a tropical island styled water park home to 14 slides of all shapes and sizes, as well as a beach to relax on.

In fifth place is Djurs Sommerland in Denmark with a score of 4.35. As the winner of the 2019 Park World Excellence award, Djurs Sommerland offers nine themed areas and is also home to Northern Europe’s biggest water coaster.

Italy’s Etnaland and AcquaPark Odessia 2000 rank tenth

In joint tenth place scoring 4.29 out of 5, are Etnaland and AcquaPark Odissea 2000, both located in Italy. Whether it’s Etnaland’s Devil Race slide or Odessiea’s Skyron Rocket slide, they are both packed to the brim with water-based activities for the perfect summer with a splash.

Most excellently reviewed water parks

Despite falling short of first place, Siam Park claims the crown as the water park with the most excellent reviews on TripAdvisor totalling a whopping 70.5% excellent reviews (22,823 reviews).

In second, Tenerife takes the lead again with Costa Martianez’s excellent ratings, making up 53% of total ratings.

Placing third, Zoomarine, located in Italy’s capital claims top three with its seaside location and variety of animals both on land and in the waters – excellent comments making up 42.5% of the total.
