The director of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, Krunoslav Capak, took part in a meeting to discuss the possible opening of new vaccination points this morning.
"We also talked to the directors of the county institutes to remind them that larger quantities of vaccines are arriving," he said.
"Whoever has the opportunity and the opportunity to organize a checkpoint, will organize it," answered Capak when asked if there would be new checkpoints for mass vaccination.
Asked about the data for new Covid-19 cases across Croatia in the past 24 hours Capak said to N1 that "Our numbers are large, the highest number of cases are always on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the share of positives among those tested tells us that the epidemic is raging. The measures should be adhered to.”
Adding that "We have a strategy that measures are adopted at the county level, if the numbers jump, they will be adopted at the national level," said Capak.
