ÖBB, the Austrian rail company, is expanding its offer and starting a new seasonal night train connection from Vienna and Graz to Split on June 18, 2021. In the future, passengers will be able to travel to the Croatian coast overnight in a climate-friendly and comfortable manner and even have transport their car or motorcycle with them.
The new night train is scheduled to run twice a week on the Bratislava - Vienna - Graz - Split route from mid-June to mid-September.
The long drive to the holiday destination with family or friends can in future be replaced by a climate-friendly and pleasant train journey. The transport of cars and motorcycles is possible from Vienna to Split and also from Bratislava to Split and back.
Tickets for the night train are available from 29.90 Euros in a seated car and from 69.90 Euros per person and in a comfortable sleeping carriage. These can now be booked online in the ÖBB ticket shop at tickets.oebb.at.
The train tour operator ÖBB Rail Tours also has holiday packages on offer for the new night train destination. For example, customers have the option of booking a package tour including a train journey Vienna - Split - Vienna with seat reservation and a one-week stay in the Porta Adriatica apartment in the centre of Split. This offer is available, for example, from 331 euros per person without meals.
