As part of the current communication platform "Croatia Full of Magic" on the social networks Facebook and Instagram, the Croatian Tourist Board conducted two creative competitions, namely "Christmas Giveaway" in 11 foreign markets and "Design a creative itinerary" in the domestic market. Both competitions aroused extremely great interest given that the main prize of the competition was a trip to Croatia in 2021.
"The communication platform Croatia Full of Magic on social networks achieved excellent results, which is confirmed by the large number of applications for creative competitions. In addition to the domestic market, our focus was on the markets of Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Norway, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. In mid-January, we will launch a new online campaign Croatia Full of New Beginnings with the hashtag #CroatiaWishList2021. This is a campaign that will be active until mid-February, the focus will be on as many as 18 markets, and the campaign will aim to draw attention to Croatia through new beginnings and new beautiful and positive wishes in 2021," said the director of Croatian Tourism Board Kristjan Staničić, who sent his sincere congratulations to all the winners of the winter creative competition.
Namely, after reviewing a large number of original entries, the expert jury within the CNTB selected Christian Zeitlberger from Austria as the winner of the competition in foreign markets, who won the main prize, which includes a five-day trip for two in Croatia. In his announcement, Zeitlberger singled out his stay in Zagreb and its surroundings, but also the Croatian islands. "I love the smell of cream cheese in Samobor, the salty breeze by the sea and the smell of pine trees. I love sailing the islands and exploring the island of Pag by motorbike. Croatia combines relaxation, kindness and well-being - it makes dreams come true," said Christian, who in 2021 will have a new unforgettable adventure in Croatia.
The main prizes in the competition on the domestic market, which include a weekend stay at the Frankopan Hotel in Ogulin and at the Ramarin Ranch in Slavonski Brod, the winners of the #prviput project, go to Sanja Zeravica, who in her announcement described a unique experience of active vacation that includes several days walking and Lidija Filipec Stanislav, who emphasized her love for castles and towns in Kvarner.
