Croatia Health Minister, Vili Beros, announced on Twitter on Tuesday that Croatia has the largest two-week drop in new Covid-19 cases in the European Union and thanked citizens for respecting epidemiological measures.
"Thank you to all citizens for respecting epidemiological measures and showing a high level of responsibility," Beros said in a statement.
He also shared on Twitter a graph showing the movement of the number of newly infected coronavirus cases in the European Union, which was published in a report by John Hopkins University.
The table shows that on January 11, Croatia recorded the largest drop in the number of new Covid-19 cases with 46.3 percent in the last two weeks in the European Union, followed by Luxembourg with 44.8 percent.
Beroš added that personal responsibility today is shows solidarity with the victims of the earthquake and told the citizens to continue to be the best at it.
