Vaccinations don’t mean an end to wearing a mask

Written by  Dec 04, 2020

At the press conference of the National Staff, the head of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, Krunoslav Capak, spoke about the plan for vaccination against Covid-19 in Croatia.

He said vaccination is to be voluntary and free.

“It would be good to get as many people vaccinated as possible, it provides us with collective immunity,” he said, reports N1.

"Although it is voluntary, it would be good for as many people as possible to be vaccinated. The era of not wearing masks will not begin with vaccination because we still do not know how acquiring immunity due to overcoming the disease affects the possibility of transmitting the virus. We’ll have to stick to wearing masks for a while until the numbers fall," Capak said.
