Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenković, has tested positive for coronavirus, a government spokesman confirmed yesterday.
"Following the recommendations of epidemiologists, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković performed a re-test for the presence of coronavirus on Monday, and his findings are positive,” said the spokesperson.
Adding that “The Prime Minister was previously ordered an epidemiological measure of self-isolation and is now being ordered to isolate for 10 days. He is currently feeling well, and the Prime Minister continues to perform his activities and responsibilities from home, and he will follow all the instructions of doctors and epidemiologists."
The Prime Minister’s wife is positive for the coronavirus, which is why he has been in self-isolation since Saturday.
