By  Nov 25, 2020

In the past 24 hours, 3,603 new cases were recorded, so the number of currently active cases in Croatia today is 20,691. Among them, 2,136 patients are in hospital, of which 240 are on a respirator. In the past 24 hours, 2,017 people have recovered and 10,194 were tested.

On this day, November 25, 2020, the number of deaths in Croatia exceeded 1,500.

The eminent Croatian scientist, Ivan Đikić, at the beginning of the month said that the situation was alarming and that the number of fatalities was growing too fast, reports N1.

"Croatia has taken the baton of Sweden in Europe with the most liberal measures, and the numbers are bad. If the government does not get serious and does not start adopting transparent and correct measures, we will certainly have 1,500 dead by the end of this month. to predict, "Djikic said at the time.

The director of the Croatian Institute of Public Health, Krunoslav Capak, commenting on the statement of the eminent scientist Djikic, said that his projection of 1,500 dead by the end of November seemed excessive to him.

"I think that number is exaggerated, that this figure will not be reached, but we are absolutely monitoring the situation and preparing for such scenarios," Capak said at the time.
