In the last 24 hours, 2,378 new cases of Covid-19 infection were recorded in Croatia, and 23 people died, which is the most since the beginning of the epidemic in Croatia, the National Civil Protection Headquarters reported on Wednesday.
The number of deaths is higher than yesterday, when there was also a black record for the number of deaths with 18.
The number of active cases of Covid-19 in Croatia is currently 12,736, and among them 932 people are in hospital. There are 68 people on ventilators.
Since February 25, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, 40,999 people have been infected with coronavirus, of which 493 have died.
A total of 27,770 people have recovered, of which 930 recovered in the last 24 hours.
There are currently 14,924 people in self-isolation. To date, a total of 466,315 people have been tested, of which 8,589 in the last 24 hours.
