In the last 24 hours, 1,096 new cases of Covid-19 virus infection were recorded, and the number of active cases in Croatia today is 4,844.
The City of Zagreb once again saw the biggest number of new Covid-19 cases with a record breaking 24 hours of 387 new cases, followed by the Split-Dalmatia County with 104 new cases.
There are currently 530 people in hospital across the country and 28 people on a ventilator.
Unfortunately, over the past 24-hour period a further 10 people have passed away due to the virus.
Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 24,761 people have contracted the virus, of which 355 have died, a total of 19,562 have recovered, of which 475 in the last 24 hours.
There are currently 20,389 people in self-isolation.
To date, a total of 392,052 people have been tested, of which 6,980 in the last 24 hours.
