1,131 new cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Croatia over the past 24 hours, by far the worst day for new cases since the pandemic began. Yesterday was, until these latest figures, the record day for new Covid-19 cases with 793 recorded. Over the past three days a total of 2,672 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded.
The City of Zagreb saw 231 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours.
According to data from the National Civil Protection Headquarters there are currently 4,233 active cases, among them there are 505 people in hospital and 24 people on a ventilator.
Unfortunately, one person has passed away due to Covid-19.
Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 23,665 people have been infected with the new coronavirus, of which 345 have died, a total of 19,087 have recovered, of which 459 in the last 24 hours.
There are currently 17,242 people in self-isolation.
To date, a total of 385,072 people have been tested, of which 5,693 in the last 24 hours.
