In the last 24 hours, 793 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded, and the number of active cases across Croatia today is 3,562. These figures are a record day for new Covid-19 cases in Croatia and combined with yesterday’s new case numbers it means that in two days 1,541 people have contracted the virus.
There are currently 439 people in hospital, including 26 people on a ventilator. Unfortunately, over the last 24-hour period 10 people passed away from Covid-19.
The City of Zagreb currently has 1,028 active cases of Covid-19, followed by the Split-Dalmatia County with 417 active cases.
Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 22,534 people have been infected with the new coronavirus, of which 344 have died, a total of 18,628 people have recovered, of which 431 in the last 24 hours.
There are currently 17,805 people in self-isolation.
To date, a total of 379,379 people have been tested, of which 6,696 in the last 24 hours.
