COVID-19 MAP: Only one region in Europe marked ‘green’ and it’s in Croatia!

By  The Dubrovnik Times Oct 15, 2020

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium has published an updated list of countries by zones, bringing the details of the epidemiological situation in each area, which can also be viewed on an interactive map.

On that map, only one area is currently painted green and that's the County of Istria!

This is what colors on the map mean:

- The Belgian authorities strongly discourage travel to this zone; or
- The authorities of this country prohibit non-essential travel from Belgium.

- Travel is possible, but the Belgian authorities recommend increased vigilance; or
- Travel is possible, but the authorities of this country impose a COVID test and/or quarantine on travellers from Belgium -> light orange

-travel is possible. Hygiene and social distancing rules still apply.

When you click on the County of Istria, this message appears:
This area is green
Travel is possible without restrictions.
A COVID test and a quarantine are not mandatory on return to Belgium.

One week ago, in addition to the County of Istria, Varazdin County was among the most successful regions in Europe in preventing the spread of coronavirus, according to data published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium, alongside with another region in Sweden, four in Poland, two in Bulgaria and two in Italy.
