Coronavirus Croatia – worst day for new cases since Covid-19 pandemic began in Croatia

In the last 24 hours, 748 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded, and the number of active cases in Croatia today is 3,210. This is the worst day for new cases in Croatia since the pandemic began. The record day for new Covid-19 cases in Croatia was 542 on the October 8.

There are currently 441 people in hospital across Croatia and 27 people on a ventilator.

Unfortunately, over the last 24 hours 4 more people have passed away due to the Covid-19 virus.

Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 21,741 people have been infected, of which 334 have died, a total of 18,197 people have recovered, of which 308 in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 16,598 people in self-isolation.

To date, a total of 372,683 people have been tested, of which 6,448 were tested in the last 24 hours, the National Civil Protection Headquarters announced.
