The National Park of Mljet, the only national park in the Dubrovnik region, has announced that it will open its doors to visitors from March this year.
Year on year the Mljet National park has recorded an increase in visitor numbers, and one of the reasons for this constant increase is the fact that the pre and post seasons are busier, in fact visiting this glorious island out of the main summer season is highly recommended.
Last year 145,751 visitors toured the national park, and last year the park was open from the 9th of March to the 8th of November.
This spring the national park is putting together a special offer for “early bird” visitors. For all visitors to the national park in March the entry price will be a special discount of only 50 Kuna. Also the park will provide free guided tours by boat around the Big lake and visits to the St. Mary island with its Benedictine Monastery.
