Dubrovnik is renowned as one of the most romantic cities in the world. Every year couples choose the city as the destination for their special day, last year over 50 international weddings were organised in the city. And it seems that it doesn’t even matter if your wedding took place in Dubrovnik, couples still want photos together in front of the iconic landmarks.

Following the success of the Break Time® flagship store in Split - opened in December 2015 in Trogirska 8 (adjacent Marmontova) - the two Romanian expats behind the brand, Mirela Rus and Ionut Copoiu, have decided to expand along the coast.

"We are so proud and happy to open the second Break Time® store in the most popular location in Croatia. I have moved from Split to Dubrovnik for a couple of months, to organize the new shop logistics, and I am falling in love with this place more and more every day", says Mirela, the Marketing & Sales Manager.

The new Dubrovnik monobrand store is showcasing all Break Time® jewellery & accessories collections, including the newly launched ADRIATICA armbands for men, previously available exclusively in the brand's online shop www.nautical-bracelets.com.

All the Break Time® bracelets, necklaces and key-chains are personally handmade by Ionut, using original yachting rope and nautical-inspired shackles and anchors.

"For me, Dubrovnik has always been a magical place and to have my handcrafted products present here is an honour and a dream come true", says the brand's designer.

Zupa has a new tourist attraction; well at least it had one for half an hour! Whilst working on a new roundabout in Srebreno, around 15 minutes from Dubrovnik, workers accidently broke a main water pipe causing a fountain to appear.

In an attempt to slow down the fountain the workers placed the scoop of the digger over the fountain, this only meant that the water squirted in another direction.

The fountain, which burst several metres into the air, lasted for about thirty minutes before the water company arrived on the scene and closed off the main water valves.

MojPosao recently carried out a survey that involved 300 respondents in order to learn what is an average raise in Croatia as well as how often, to whom and for what reasons it is given.

According to the survey almost 70 percent of respondents advanced to a higher job position during their career, whilst 30 percent never advanced. Respondents with higher education advanced more often (78%) than respondents with secondary education (68%). Similarly, respondents with higher education asked for career advancement themselves more often (32%) than respondents with secondary education (21%). The vast majority of respondents (87%) advanced within the same company, whilst 29 percent of respondents obtained career advancement by starting a new job in other company.

In terms of gender, men and women are progressing equally; 73 percent of women and 72 percent of men progressed during their career. Among respondents who advanced within the same company, around 84 percent of them did not ask for advancement themselves but were offered one by an employer. Only 29 percent of respondents asked for career advancement themselves.

On the other hand, women are more likely to ask for promotion. The survey showed that almost 28 percent of women who progressed within a company asked for advancement themselves. As far as men are concerned, only 23 percent of them asked for advancement themselves. However, men were offered career promotion more often (77%) than women (72%).

In the case of starting work with a new employer, most respondents (40%) expected promotion after a year of work, whilst 28 percent of them expected to advance after two years. A fifth of respondents (21%) expected to advance after less than a year of work in a new company, whilst 7 percent of them did not expect to advance at all.

Interestingly, the survey data showed that almost 86 percent of respondents never refused a promotion. The rest of respondents explained that they refused a promotion due to small benefits in relation to responsibility and work that accompanied the promotion.

Moon River, the new video by the world famous duo 2Cellos takes their fans to Dubrovnik again, just after their Game of Thrones video. Filmed mostly in front of the Rector's Palace with ballerina silhouettes dancing all around and the well-known romantic theme from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's, this video is quite enchanting and again a great success for Stjepan Hauser and Luka Sulic.

This track is from their newest album 'Score', made with the London Symphony Orchestra, and will be published on March 17th and is, just like Game of Thrones video, made by Darko Drinovac.

Dubrovnik loves 2Cellos and 2Cellos love Dubrovnik – they just make a perfect combination.
