Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik (MOMAD) organizes expert guidance on Saturday, February 22th at 10 am through the current exhibition "ANTUN MASLE (1919-1967), a retrospective exhibition on the 100th anniversary of the painter's birth" as part of the "Saturday Coffee at the Gallery" program.
"Saturday Coffee at the Gallery" is a recognizable and excellently accepted program of MOMAD, trying to get it closer to citizens and all visitors of the city of Dubrovnik by offering them a different experience of a cultural institution. This form of interaction with visitors is performed through current exhibitions or permanent exhibitions.
Senior MOMAD Curator, Ph.D. Rozana Vojvoda will present the concept of the exhibition to all interested visitors at this "Saturday Coffee at the Gallery" and introduce them to the work of this great Dubrovnik artist.
Antun Masle is one of the most important painters from Dubrovnik who belongs to so called Dubrovnik coloristic circle, a distinctive variant of "southern expressionism".
The author of the exhibition is one of the most famous Croatian historians, theorists and art critics Igor Zidic, who is also an expert in the opus of this Dubrovnik painter.
After expert guidance, all visitors will be able to refresh themselves with coffee while enjoying the view from the most beautiful terrace in the City.
