International Exhibition ART CAPITAL officialy opened in Paris on February 12th under the auspices of French President Emmanuel Macron, Minister of Culture Frank Riester and President of the United National Museums of France Chris Darcon. Croatian painter and captain Stjepko Mamic is exhibiting there for the fifth time.
At the vernissage which was held on Tuesday, February 11th, there were around 11 thousand guests, including a large number of distinguished figures from the public, artistic and political life of France and from around the world.
For the second year in a row, the paintings of Stjepko Mamic are exhibited at the honorary position A1 at the Salon des Artistes Independants, of which he is a full member, where they attract the attention of numerous audience. Captain Stjepko Mamić exhibited 4 large-scale paintings previously presented at his exhibitions at the Sebastian Gallery in Dubrovnik in August 2019 and December 2019 and at the European Union headquarters in Strasbourg from where they were shipped to Paris. Mamic painted all the pictures on the linen canvas in the mix media technique. Mamic's paintings show the magical beauty of the blue sea, the rich flora and fauna of the clear sea that we wish it to remain for us and future generations.
