Wonderful world of Nutcracker to be brought by the Ukrainian Classical Ballet Ensemble

One of the most beautiful and popular works of classical ballet that traditionally fascinates children and adults around the world, The Nutcracker by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, will be performed by the Ukrainian Classical Ballet Ensemble on December 10th, starting at 7:30 pp at the Sports Hall in Gospino polje in Dubrovnik. 

The choreography is made by one of the most famous choreographers, ballet master and laureate of numerous awards and international awards Valerij Petrovic Kovtun. Traditional Kovtun choreography was given the modern look by ballet troupe of the Ukrainian Classical Ballet, whose soloists of the National Opera and Ballet Kateryna Kurchenko and Serhii Klichain have won Ukrainian ballet awards and recognitions, through unique scenographic and directorial solutions, imposing contemporary decorations and costume decorations screenings that won't leave even the most demanding ballet audience indifferent. When trying to explain the popularity of this ballet ensemble is enough to say that they annually perform about 300 ballet performances, of which over 70 performances by The Nutcracker were staged last year.

In addition to the Nutcracker, the sixth Dubrovnik Winter Festival brings many other children's programs, and the central meeting point of the North Pole Station will be located this year at the Bursa Theater. The youngest will celebrate the New Year's Eve by singer Mia Dimsic, and the traditional Christmas fairytale and Torta party will also take place with the performance of the popular singer Domenica.
