Sea motifs by Dubrovnik painter and captain Stjepko Mamic are included in the new printed and online spring edition of the French "Maison et Jardin" magazine. By the choice of editor Cecile Seror, a supplement dedicated to the art of the new edition of this home and garden decoration magazine, which is distributed around the world, along with the text about the artist, includes his two paintings on flax that were exhibited at this year's Art Capital in the famous Paris Grand Palais: "Long Net, Paris edition" (200x110cm, at Salon des Artistes Independants) and "Tell me what you see" (100x80cm, at Salon du Dessin et de la Peinture and l'Eau).
Mamic’s paintings drawn much attention during Art Capital in February 2018 as a significant artistic event in France under the auspices of the French President and the Ministry of Culture, where four of the most historically important artists' associations simultaneously exhibit at the traditional annual Salons. Because of that, Mamic was included in the newest edition of ART & Design magazine.
Since April 2018, Mamic has become a member of the Historical Paris Association of Artists "La Société des Artistes indépendants" founded in 1884, which, together with the Fondation Taylor membership (1844), makes him one of the most respected contemporary artists that are not residents in France.
