Stradun Classic – new classical music festival in Dubrovnik

By  Apr 04, 2018

Dubrovnik will have a new classical music festival this year as the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra will hold the initial “Stradun Classic” festival. The festival will have two dates this year, firstly from the 6th of April to the 11th of April, and then again from the 4th of September to the 14th of September. This new festival certainly has an international feel with artists from all over the world headlining this classical event. The City of Dubrovnik and the clarinettist, Marija Pavlović, are co-operating with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra to hold this chamber music festival.

- The Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra has been thinking for a long time on how to offer a complete program, we have seen that there is a gap in the city’s offer of chamber music, so we have decided to launch a new festival for which Marija Pavlović is in charge of the artistic direction,” commented the director of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Damir Milat.

The Stradun Classic festival will feature artists from many countries including the United Kingdom, Belgium, Slovenia and Austria.
