Music and love have always gone hand in hand, and with the most romantic day of the year on the horizon the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra has prepared something special.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day in Dubrovnik this year the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra (DSO), as it does every year, has prepared a traditional concert.
The concert "Towards Valentine's Day" will be held on Saturday, February 12 at 8:30pm in the hotel Rixos Premium Dubrovnik. Along with the DSO and maestro Marco Tardue, the chief conductor will be Džemal Cakić, the first trumpet of the DSO and vocalist Maja Grgić. With their artistic contribution, this concert will surely delight all those who decide to spend Saturday night with good music.
The program includes selected works of classical music with Offenbach and Brahms, as well as popular domestic and foreign music. Beautiful compositions by our home-grown maestro Đelo Jusić, as well as Frank Sinatra, John Lennon and many others. As always, most of the arrangement was made by Damir Butigan, trumpet player of the DSO.
